at YOGA MITRA
Our main goal is to lead you down the long path of discovery that yoga provides. Our holistic yoga classes focus on health and wellness for everybody, from beginners who are trying out yoga to regular practitioners. Classes are customised to suit the students’ needs and conditions. The use of props in the classes also makes yoga postures accessible to everyone, regardless of your body shape, level of fitness, or physical limitations.
Our community at YOGA MITRA is comprised of students of all ages, levels and abilities supporting each other in their yoga journey. We look forward to welcoming you to our yoga family.
Yoga is a lifestyle, it is not only a part of life, it is a way of life.
We wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

WHY YOGA?
Living in a fast-paced society and taking on multiple roles and responsibilities in work, family and personal life has taken a toll on our physical and mental well-being. The pandemic has also resulted in many of us working from home and maintaining a work-life balance becomes a challenge. The stress of daily life can contribute to many health problems such as high blood pressure, diabetes, depression, constipation, shoulder and knee pain.
Some people are afraid to attend yoga as they may experience pain and aches during and after class. However, as long as the pain is tolerable and it is not a sharp pain, it is good to stretch the body as it helps to maintain a range of motion in the joints, thereby lessening the risk for joint pain, strains and muscle damage.
As human lifespan increases, it is important that we look after our health so that we can live a long, independent and fulfilling life. Why not take the first step now, make self-care a priority and take care of your well-being?
